PiShock

1. In the Settings page, expand the "PiShock" section under the "Device Connections" header.

1. Navigate to the PiShock website and login to your account.

2. Click the "Menu" button top-right, and navigate to "Account" to access your Account Settings.

3. Click the button labelled "Generate API Key".

NOTE: If you are using other applications with the PiShock API, generating a new API key will invalidate any existing keys in use.

1. A popup window will now appear with your new API key. Copy the key shown.

2. Navigate back to TipLink, and paste your copied API key into the field labelled "PiShock API Key".

3. Enter your username used to login to the PiShock website in the field labelled "PiShock Website Username".

4. For the "Nickname" field, please enter a name you'd like to appear in the "History" section of the PiShock website when triggering Actions from TipLink. This name can be anything under 10 characters in length.

5. Click the "Save PiShock Settings" button.

Your PiShock account is now ready to be used with TipLink.

Adding a Shocker

To use PiShock, you first need to set-up your existing shockers to be used with TipLink.

1. In the Settings page, expand the "PiShock" section under the "Device Connections" header.

2. Scroll to the bottom, and click "Add New Shocker Share Code".

   
3. A new popup will appear.

1. In the "Share Code" field, enter your Share Code from the PiShock website.

The Share Code must be unused. Existing or redeemed share codes will not work.

Do not enter the entire share code URL - instead, copy only the code part. Incorrect: https://pishock.com/#/Control?sharecode=2B9A5809728 Correct: 2B9A5809728

1. In the "Name" field, enter a memorable name so you can remember which shocker device this code is used for. Example: Left Leg

2. Click the "Add New Device" button to save your changes.

Your new PiShock Shocker Device has now been saved, and is ready to be used.

Generating a PiShock Share Code

To generate a new Share Code...

1. Navigate to the "PiShock" section of their website and open your PiShock device settings.

2. Click the "Share" button, and then click "+ CODE".
3. Your share code will appear at the bottom of the list of valid codes.

Your PiShock Share Code has now been generated.
